Amazon is proposing to establish a Prime Air drone delivery operation at its existing facility at 64 Otis Street in Westborough, Massachusetts. The proposal would bring autonomous delivery drones into the skies over Westborough and surrounding communities within an approximately 7.5-mile operating radius.

This includes:

  • All of Westborough, Shrewsbury, Grafton, and Northborough

  • Large portions of Worcester, Hopkinton, Upton, Millbury, Boylston, Marlborough, and Southborough

  • Small portions of Hudson, Berlin, Ashland, and West Boylston

Now is our opportunity to understand what is being proposed, learn from communities where Prime Air is already operating, ask hard questions, and make sure residents have a meaningful voice before this becomes part of everyday life in our neighborhoods.

Get involved. Help save our skies.

THE FUTURE OF OUR SKIES

Amazon isn't alone. Other companies are developing increasingly autonomous commercial drone delivery networks, while the FAA is developing rules for expanded drone operations, including flights beyond the operator's direct line of sight.

What happens in Westborough could be part of a much bigger shift in how commercial airspace is used over residential communities. Before drone delivery becomes established, let’s ask questions, understand the potential impacts, and make sure their voices are part of the conversation.

Learn. connect. Take action.
